Who they work with on EDC
Who they are and what they do

The contracts engineer knows the contract clause by clause, such as FIDIC, and makes sure the company sends its notices on time. They prepare extension-of-time and cost claims and answer the other party's claims.

A valid claim can be lost just because a notice was a day late or the proof is missing. So they need the history of every event on site, with photos and letters.

How EDC helps them

In EDC every delay, instruction or change is logged when it happens, with photos and who caused it. EDC reminds them of the notice deadlines the contract sets before they pass.

A claim is assembled from the recorded events and the schedule, and the EDC Assistant helps draft it while they review it. Every letter in and out is kept with a stamp and time.
