Who they work with on EDC
Who they are and what they do

The site manager leads all the site engineers, crews and plant. They plan the daily and weekly work, solve the problems engineers cannot, and follow safety, quality and progress.

They answer to management when site falls behind and to the consultant when work is rejected. So they need to see the whole site at a glance, not chase each engineer with questions.

How EDC helps them

In EDC they see on one screen the crews present, the open problems, the inspections waiting and the pours coming. Anything late shows in red with the name of whoever owns it.

They hand tasks to engineers from a phone and see who finished, and read every engineer's report merged into one daily report. The morning meeting is then only about decisions.

What you can do
  • See the whole site on one screen
  • Hand tasks to engineers and follow them
  • Get one daily report from all engineers
What you gain
  • Spot a problem before it stops the site
  • Fewer calls, clearer follow-up
  • Every engineer knows their task
